History
The Georgetown Group of companies has enjoyed success since John Elliott founded the customs brokerage arm of the business in 1958.  Shortly thereafter, in 1964, distribution services were added.  The Elliott family built the business from a small community custom broker serving the local area, into an international customs broker and a leading Canadian distribution partner for domestic and international publishers.

In 2002,  Georgetown Publications, Inc., a sales and marketing organization, was formed to represent publishers in Canada who wanted sales representation in addition to their logistics needs.  Today, John Elliott’s daughter, Brenda Sisnett continues to walk in her father’s footsteps by leading the companies through continued growth and expansion.
